It wasn't a great match, we all know that, but The Hulkster vs the undefeated Andre The Giant in front of the largest American wrestling crowd ever has to be the biggest match in the history of wrestling.
Many in the business agree.
Can you think of anything bigger?

No. Without a doubt this was a HUUUUUUUUUUUGE!!!!!!!!! Wrestling event. There have been tons upon tons of better wrestling matches, but as far as matches that would pack in 90,000 plus. No there's none bigger from a promotional standpoint. I wonder if we'll ever see a bigger match in our lifetimes?
My favorite thing about this match isn't even anything in the match itself. It's the Piper's Pit "Do you accept Andre's challenge Hogan...Yes or No?"....and then Hogan gives that classy 80's cheesy "YEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"
